Bivio coffee table

Bivio, which means juncture or crossroads in Italian, is the name and the inspiration for this collection of tables. The legs give us the illusion to be a single element at the top, but these separate at the bottom creating an interesting game of curves that makes this table very recognizable.

The two legs are glued together with two dowels to increase the strength of the joint.
At the bottom, a stainless steel 6 millimetres rod, prevents the legs from moving in
any direction. Bivio could be made of ash, birch, or walnut; and it could be finished in several possible ways.
