This project has deeply investigated the history and the techniques of wood joinery and has brought them into a new design aesthetic.

“Being inspired by the past” is something that design often claim to do, I personally feel that in order to reinterpret the past it is necessary to understand it first.
This project in some way can show how much there is to learn behind something apparently simple like a wood joint.
